Cancellation Policy
Hair by Melody Appointment & Cancellation Policy At Hair by Melody, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. Many of my services require several hours of dedicated time, making it difficult to fill last-minute openings. I appreciate your understanding and respect for my time and my business. Card on File A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve all appointments. Your card will only be charged according to the cancellation policy below. Cancellations & Rescheduling If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. - More than 48 hours' notice: No charge. - 24-48 hours' notice: You may be charged 30% of your scheduled service total. - Less than 24 hours' notice: You may be charged up to 100% of your scheduled service total. - No-shows (missing your appointment without notice): You will be charged 100% of your scheduled service total. Late Arrivals If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, I will do my best to accommodate you. Deposits Some services, including extensions, color corrections, and appointments lasting more than two hours, require a non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be applied toward your service total. If you cancel outside the required notice, the deposit will be forfeited. Emergencies I understand that true emergencies and unexpected illnesses happen. If something unavoidable occurs, please contact me as soon as possible. These situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Future Appointments Clients with repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may be required to prepay for future appointments or may lose the privilege of booking online.
